Whew, today started off a bit rough. Calvin has been waking up with some serious ‘tude the last couple days, I wasn’t sure if I could handle another day like yesterday. I decided that it would be best to get out of the house and distract him from his boring old life, so we went food shopping.
At what age do you become like a kid in a candy store at Shoprite??? I mean, I just see so many dinner possibilities, it’s like… a dream come true. Sales!? Even better! Can-can sale??? Don’t mind if I do.
Geez. I pretty much bought one of everything in the produce section… herbs, fruits, veggies, avocados… oh the avocados. Although, Shoprite is confused on what a ripe avocado feels like. Hard as rock? Not so much. Ugh, I guess I’ll buy five and wait.
So, now we’re home, baby’s sleeping and I have copious amounts of fresh veggies. I am fervently searching Pinterest for dinner ideas. However, the storm is coming and the house is growing darker and darker by the minute. Naptime sounds good.

Oh dear Calvin, please don’t stir now. This would be the best time to sleep like a baby! But more like other people’s babies, considering you don’t really sleep well… hmm who came up with that phrase anyway?
